Boom Goes the Dynamite got back in the win column in St. Louis Park Mixed C League action with a 14-10 win over The Chiefs on Tuesday. Tied 9-9 entering the fourth inning, Boom proceeded to out-score the Amanda Hoehn-led squad of heavy drinkers and former semi-pro hockey players 5-1 to cruise to the win. Eight of Boom's 12 players registered multi-hit nights, led by three-hit games by the middle of the lineup (Meghan Potter, Jim Strick, Cathy Behr, Ryan Maus and Alyssa Downing). Boom moved to 3-2 in the league despite another atrocious showing by umpire Susan H. Keller. For the second consecutive game, Keller blew a pair of obvious call, leading Boom general manager Jeff Keiser to consider filing an official protest with league commissioner Sam Lombardo.Boom looks to start a winning streak against Jobdig on June 10 at 6:15 p.m., at Dakota Park West.
